and i wish i could say 'award winning,' but those words are reserved for a select few. great work, becca. we are honored to have you as a HYK representative.
i did, by the way, intend that others might explore the obit theme, not only as a haiku exercise, but as a deeper, self-exploratory pursuit. you know, like mine.
i could see me going down something like this ~
habitual botch
bitching about being broke
run over by bus

Thanks, guys! I think there are other poems going up by Columbia College Haiku You Ku-ers, but they just haven't bragged about it like me. (Or else they've stopped checking the site altogether. Is anybody out there?) But we'll have to hold the first annual Haiku You Ku Conference in the Harrison Red Line subway station.
